  1. Find the reports

    We pull public Reddit threads about the problem and the Ulta and Sephora reviews that mention it.

  2. Keep only first-hand reports

    "I wear it every day and it never moves" counts. "I heard it's good" does not. One person counts once per product.

  3. Count, then rank

    Products rank by the share of buyers who say it worked, adjusted for how many said so. Brands can't pay to move up.
